Terms and conditions
All booking is done through our website www.icelandaaltheway.is or www.iceway.is. The person who makes the booking is responsible for the persons in the party involved in that booking. You must be a least 18 years old to make the booking. We will send you a confirmation and an invoice once booking has been made.
a) Day tours
Full payment must be made for day tours through our website by completing booking, all prices and payments are in Icelandic Kronur ISK as shown on our website. We accept credit such as VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Prices are guaranteed after full payment has been made.
b) Longer tours
Payment for longer tours is done through our website by completing booking or by paying 20% confirmation fee, and fully payed 3 weeks before departure, all prices and payments are in Icelandic Kronur ISK as shown on our website. We accept credit such as VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Prices are guaranteed after a full payment has been made. All prices on the icelanadalltheway.is or iceway.is website are per person, unless otherwise specified and are displayed including VAT.
3. Cancellation and changes
Our cancellation policy follows the industry standard and the standard set by the Icelandic Travel Industry Association. You may cancel your booked arrangements at any time; however, you must give us written notice by email signed by the person who made the original booking. If a confirmed package tour is changed less than a week prior to the start of the tour, a last minute change fee of ISK 6500 will be charged. Please note that refund payments use the same method as the original payment. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be to the same credit card. If you paid by bank transfer, the refund will be by bank transfer in the same currency. The bank’s or credit card company’s service charge is deducted from the refund.
4. Cancellation of Day tours
For cancellation of day tours the following applies: More than 7 days prior to the tour: full refund 2-6 days prior to departure: 40% refund 1 day prior to departure and no-shows: no refund.
5. Cancellation of Longer tours
More than 42 days prior to the tour: full refund 14-41 days prior to departure: 50% refund of full package cost 5-13 days prior to departure: 20% refund of full package cost 4 days prior or less and no-shows: no refund.
We advise all our clients to have Insurance.
7. Delay of travel
Should delays due to weather conditions or other reason beyond our control disrupt your itinerary, additional cost will be of your (clients) responsibility.
8. Changes of tour caused by bad weather or conditions
All day tours and longer tours are dependent on weather and conditions in the areas we travel through. Iceland all the way reserve the right to change, re-schedule or cancel tours if conditions are a threat to the safety of its travelers. If tours are cancelled by Iceland all the way due to bad conditions and weather a full refund will be given.
Iceland all the way is an Icelandic travel agency and tour operator, authorized by the Iceland Tourist Board. Should any disagreement arise, this will be settled in Iceland, according to Icelandic law.
All complaints must reach Iceland All The Way within 7 days from departure from Iceland. Otherwise possible compensation is not valid.
