Tour description

This tour takes us through the beautiful south coast. On one side see the breathtaking steep mountainside carved out by the ocean during the ice age, and the most famous volcanoes/glaciers Katla and Eyjafjallajökull and on the other side and the wild North Atlantic Ocean with the black sand beaches, crater plugs in the ocean, and possibly a glance at nesting puffins. On our way back we stop at the majestic waterfalls, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss and if you are lucky you may even glimpse a waterfall rainbow at either location.

The South Shore of Iceland is one of the most diverse and breathtaking landscapes in the world. A lowland region of lush farmland, striking waterfalls, sandy coastline, glaciers and quaint towns/villages, it is also an area of historical significance. Iceland’s spectacular and most famous waterfalls will be visited in the course of the day.
