Information used
IceWay records page paths, referring hostnames, broad device/browser information, campaign tags and an approximate country, region, city and time zone derived locally from the visitor IP address using the GeoLite2 database. The raw IP address is used only for this momentary lookup and is not stored in IceWay analytics. Location results may be inaccurate, particularly when using mobile networks or VPN services.
A first-party ICEWAYANON identifier is kept for up to 180 days and a separate ICEWAYVISIT visit identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Both identifiers are hashed before database storage. My Trip selections remain in your browser on your device.
Accommodation checkout
When you choose to book accommodation, IceWay temporarily keeps the lead guest name, email, phone number, special request and selected rate in a private server session so the reservation can be completed. This checkout session expires after approximately one hour. The booking information is transmitted to LiteAPI and the relevant accommodation supplier to verify and fulfil the reservation.
Payment fields are displayed and processed by the LiteAPI Payment SDK. IceWay does not receive or store the full payment-card number, security code or payment credentials. LiteAPI and the accommodation supplier process booking information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Partners and retention
When a booking panel enters your viewport, IceWay may record an aggregate impression with the tour reference, page, campaign and button placement. When you follow a booking link or start an accommodation checkout, IceWay may record the provider and page context. These analytics events do not include the raw IP address.
For confirmed transactions, IceWay may retain the booking reference, status, page or campaign attribution and commission amount for support, accounting and business reporting. Server logs and aggregate analytics are retained only as reasonably needed for security, operations and business reporting.
