About this experience
We will pick you up from the port in Djúpivogur. Then, we will head to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. Floating on the lagoon are enormous icebergs, moving with the waves towards the river mouth. The white and blue icebergs give off a calming crackling sound as they float around in the lagoon. You will have plenty of time to take in the views from shore. Add some sparkles to your day at the Diamond Black Sand Beach. Explore some secret glaciers in the Vatnajökull National Park where the largest glacier in Europe lies.
As the day comes to an end, we will drop you off at the port in Djúpivogur.
Itinerary

Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. Floating on the lagoon are enormous icebergs, moving with the waves towards the river mouth. The white and blue icebergs give off a calming crackling sound as they float around in the lagoon.

Diamond Beach, which is just beside Jökulsárlón, is the best way to bring to a close this awesome and mesmerising day. Littered with sparking ice pieces, both big and small, on an endless stretch of black sand beach.

You will hop onto a monster truck which will bring you to the foot of the largest glacier in Europe for your glacier hiking (or Blue Ice Cave Exploration).
