    We visit the remarkable Elephant rock, a massive basalt sea cliff face sculpted over millennia by crashing waves into the unmistakeable shape of a elephant´s head, compete with ear and trunk. Grab some great photo memories

    We visit Eldfell Volcano famed for the 1973 eruption that destroyed over 400 homes and led to the evacution of the island for around 2 years. Lava fields now cover much of the eastern part of the islands, with the homes of many forever lost to the earth´s elemental forces. Your guide will tell you all about the eruption as well as the inspiring human battle to save the town.

    Visit this detailed replica of a settlement era stave black church, gifted to the island in 2000 to celebrate 1000 years of christianity in Iceland. The church and fort as located in a picturesque locale, framed by the imposing harbor cliffs to the north.
