Hallgrimskirkja is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 74.5 meters (240 feet) high, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrimur Petursson, author of the Passion Hymn.

The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most popular attractions, and it is a little wonder why. It sits at 39°C (102°F) year-round, making it the perfect temperature for bathing. The lagoon is situated on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland, renowned for its barren landscapes and cone-shaped volcanoes. It is only a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík.
