We see the coastlines with high bird cliffs, lava fields, mountains of cultivated land, and the volcanic glacier Snæfellsjökull, wandering west, glaciers, volcanoes, and the magical Snæfellsnes all in one day trip. We have the opportunity to have lunch, which you pay for yourself. The day trip around Snæfellsnes leads you to visit Ólafsvík, the oldest market town in Iceland since 1687, and Stykkishólmur, which sits by a headland with a view of the beautiful Breiðarfjarðarflói. The journey continues to Snæfellsjökull with a magnificent view of the peninsula. The area is also known for being inhabited by mythical creatures such as elves and trolls. Your mentor will show you where these magical creatures are said to live. It was said that the glacier had a mystical power and that it was the gateway to another world.
