You will reach to park to after a comfortable drive of 1 hour. Visitors to Thingvellir National Park can explore the park's stunning landscape, which includes a large lake, waterfalls, and volcanic rock formations. The park offers a range of activities for tourists, such as hiking, fishing, & diving in the Silfra fissure, where you can swim between two tectonic plates. One of the unique features of Gullfoss is that it appears to disappear into the earth as it cascades down the two tiers. This illusion is created by the shape of the canyon & the mist that rises from the waterfall. The sound of the water crashing into the canyon is deafening & the mist that rises from the falls creates a beautiful rainbow on sunny days. It is 10 minute drive from Geysir Geothermal Area there are several things to do and see in the surrounding area.
