The day covers a brief stop in Borgarnes for fjord views, Deildartunguhver (Europe's most powerful hot spring), Reykholt (Snorri Sturluson's medieval saga pool), Hraunfossar lava waterfalls, and Husafell village. Then a modified monster truck ascends Langjokull glacier for the main event: an hour inside ice tunnels drilled through the glacier — chambers, corridors, and a chapel carved from the ice.
Your private guide handles the full day. Into the Glacier's specialist guides lead the underground section. Crampons and helmet provided. No experience required.

At the summit, guests enter the tunnel system drilled directly through the glacier. Into the Glacier's specialist guides lead the underground section: corridors of blue ice, chambers reaching several metres across, and a small chapel carved entirely from the glacier. Crampons and helmet provided on-site. Temperature below 0°C — warm layers required.
