About this experience
See Iceland's classic Golden Circle in a small group with a local driver-guide, not in a big coach. We pick you up at your hotel and travel in a comfortable vehicle chosen for the size of the group, so the day moves calmly with real time at each stop.
At Thingvellir National Park you walk through the Almannagjá gorge between two continents and see where Iceland's first parliament met. On the way you meet Icelandic horses. At the Geysir area, Strokkur erupts every few minutes and there is time for lunch at your own cost. Gullfoss, the "Golden Falls", drops in two steps into a deep canyon.
The last stop is Kerið, a red volcanic crater with a turquoise lake, with your entrance ticket included. Your driver-guide shares stories about nature, history and everyday life in Iceland, and drops you back at your hotel in Reykjavík.
