    This is a private bespoke 3 hour Reykjavik Driving tour. - you choose between the two options You are in control of where we go, but we have some of the highlights of the great capital area lined up for you to enjoy. Please tell your Expert guide from Your Friend In Reykjavik, what you want to explore and what you are excited about. Do you want to enjoy a short walk in the downtown area? Would you like to go up the church tower of Hallgrimskirkja Church? Indulge in the best pastry or sweets Reykjavik has to offer. We can design this tour based on your preferences.

    You will drive by and, if you wish, stop to visit the iconic Harpa concert hall — Reykjavík’s award-winning glass building by the harbor. Known for its striking architecture and cultural importance, Harpa is home to concerts, exhibitions, and events. Since this is a private tour, you are in control of how much time you would like to spend here.

    Sun Voyager (Sólfar) You stop to admire the Sun Voyager, Reykjavík’s famous steel sculpture by Jón Gunnar Árnason. Shaped like a Viking ship, it represents a dream of hope, freedom, and discovery. Located by the waterfront, it is one of the city’s most photographed landmarks with beautiful views of the bay and mountains.

    Höfði House You will visit the historic Höfði House, a beautiful early 20th-century building best known as the location of the 1986 Reykjavík Summit between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev — a meeting that marked the beginning of the end of the Cold War.
