About this experience
Set out on a private journey from Reykjavík or the Keflavík area to the Westman Islands, with a scenic stop at Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. From there, continue to the coast and take the ferry to this remarkable island destination.
Often described as one of Iceland’s natural gems, the Westman Islands are shaped by volcanic activity and coastal cliffs. During your visit, you’ll explore highlights such as Eldfell volcano, formed in the 1973 eruption, the striking Elephant Rock, Stórhöfði, and Herjólfsdalur valley.
This private experience allows you to shape the day to your preferences. You may choose to hike Eldfell for panoramic views or visit the Eldheimar museum, which tells the story of the eruption as an example.
Designed as a full-day experience, this tour combines comfort, flexibility, and some of Iceland’s most distinctive sights, offering a more personal way to explore the Westman Islands.
