   Meet your Icelandic horse and begin with a short safety introduction before setting off with your local guide. Your horse is matched to your riding experience, making the tour suitable for both beginners and more confident riders. Ride across South Iceland’s dramatic volcanic black sand, with the open coastline stretching around you. Along the way, take in views of the Westman Islands offshore and Eyjafjallajökull rising in the distance, while enjoying the fresh ocean air and wide, rugged scenery. The experience lasts around 3 hours and gives you the chance to ride Iceland’s famous sure-footed horses in one of the country’s most striking landscapes. Helmets and rain gear are provided if needed.
