Itinerary
- Tour stop
Thingvellir National Park, a gem with immense historical and geological significance. This is where Iceland’s parliament was established in 930 A.D., with thirty ruling chiefs gathering here annually to discuss the island's laws until Danish rule began. It’s also where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, allowing us to “walk between continents” at this unique location. Adding to the experience, we’ll take a short hike to the picturesque Öxararfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's few human-made waterfalls. The Öxará River was redirected in the 10th century to provide water for parliamentary assemblies.
- Tour stop
Gullfoss waterfall, renowned for its thundering cascades and hypnotizing beauty is definitely Iceland´s no 1 most visited and photographed waterfall.
- Tour stop
The journey continues to the Geysir geothermal area, where we can watch Strokkur, a powerful geyser, erupt every five minutes.
- Tour stop
Kerið crater lake, nestled within a 3,000-year-old caldera with vividly colored waters and rock walls that create a striking end to our day.
- Tour stop
After a day of exploration, it’s time to unwind in Iceland’s newest geothermal gem: Laugaras Lagoon. Surrounded by nature, you’ll soak in warm, mineral-rich waters with a drink in hand, watching the steam rise against the Icelandic sky. It’s relaxation, rejuvenation, and that perfect “ahhh” moment you’ve been waiting for.
