Just a short drive from Ísafjörður through a scenic mountain tunnel lies Bolungarvík, one of Iceland’s northernmost fishing villages. Here, we visit the Ósvör Maritime Museum, a full-scale replica of a 19th-century fishing outpost. Rising 638 meters above sea level, Bolafjall Mountain offers one of the most breathtaking views in the Westfjords. Weather permitting, we’ll drive up the steep, paved road to the summit, where a dramatic skywalk platform extends over the cliff edge.
