About this experience
Goðafoss Waterfall & Turf House tour is the perfect introductory tour to North Iceland. We start the tour in Akureyri in Eyjafjord and drive the coastline to GrenjaðarstaðurTurf Houses and Museum. After experiencing the power of Skjálfandafljót glacier river and capturing the picturesque waterfall we head back to Akureyri. You have the option to join the Forest Lagoon.

We leave Akureyri and drive for about 45 minutes until we reach the next stop. The drive is guided and offers great views.

We start with a visit to Grenjaðarstaður Turf House museum. The visit is guided and the location offers access to restrooms.

Upon return to Akureyri we offer our guests to stop at the Botanical Garden as the end stop of the tour. From there is about 15 minute downhill walk to the port through the city center. A popular option with our clients, especially in lovely weather.
