Highlights include the volcanic basalt columns of Gerðuberg, the bird cliffs at Arnarstapi, and a chance to spot seals on Ytri Tunga beach. You'll also visit the stunning black sand beach of Djúpalónssandur and the iconic Kirkjufell mountain. The entire journey is framed by the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier. One of the first stops is to admire huge basalt columns called Gerduberg, which are so perfectly shaped into hexagons that they barely seem natural. (may not be accessible in winter)
